Sarah Kim

Sarah Kim joined NYC Pulse after five years at a Brooklyn-based nonprofit covering housing policy and tenant rights. A second-generation Korean-American from Flushing, Queens, Sarah brings lived experience and rigorous reporting to two of New York City's most consequential beats. Her education coverage has broken stories on school funding inequities and Department of Education bureaucracy. Sarah holds a master's in urban policy from The New School and is a 2024 Investigative Reporters and Editors fellow.
